Venice City Pass
One pass. Unlimited city.
The Venezia Unica City Pass is the official, modular pass system for Venice – you configure it yourself, choosing from vaporetto transport, the MUVE Museum Pass, the Chorus Church Pass, and a range of add-ons including La Fenice tours and airport transfers. Third-party passes and GetYourGuide offer pre-configured bundles for visitors who prefer a fixed package. This page covers the main options, what each includes, and how to decide which configuration suits your trip.

Common questions
FAQs
Is the Venice City Pass worth it for a short trip?
For a two- to three-day trip with active sightseeing, yes. If you use the vaporetto more than three times a day (three single tickets at €9.50 each = €28.50, already over the €25 daily pass price) and visit the Doge's Palace (€30 individually), the combined transport and museum configuration pays for itself within the first day. Day-trippers or visitors focused on wandering and eating rather than museums are better off buying a 24-hour transport pass and individual museum tickets.
Does the Venice City Pass include transport to Murano and Burano?
Yes. Any Venezia Unica transport component covers unlimited ACTV vaporetto travel, which includes Lines 4.1 and 4.2 to Murano and Line 12 to Burano and Torcello from Fondamente Nove. It does not cover private water taxis, gondolas, or the Alilaguna airport boat service – the airport transfer can be added as a separate option when configuring your pass
Where do I buy the Venice City Pass?
The Venezia Unica City Pass is configured and purchased – the online configurator lets you choose transport duration, museum access, church pass, and optional extras. You can also buy it in person at Venezia Unica offices at Santa Lucia railway station, Piazzale Roma, and other city locations. Pre-configured bundles are available and if you prefer a fixed package without the configuration step.
