Rome has four competing city pass products, each covering a different combination of sites, transport, and Vatican access. This page compares the Roma Pass (the official city-backed card), the Omnia Vatican and Rome Card, and the Turbopass so you can pick the one that matches your itinerary.

Common questions
FAQs
Is the Roma Pass worth it for 3 days in Rome?
Yes, if you visit at least two paid sites and use public transport daily. Two free entries covering the Colosseum (€18) and Capitoline Museums (€15) account for €33 in admissions. Add 72 hours of ATAC transport and a discounted third entry and you are clearly ahead of paying separately. It is less worthwhile for families, since under-18s enter state museums free, and for EU citizens under 25 who qualify for discounts.
Does the Rome city pass include Vatican Museums?
The Roma Pass does not include the Vatican Museums – the Vatican is a separate state and outside the city's pass network. The Omnia Vatican and Rome Card is the only single product that combines Vatican skip-the-line access with Rome civic sites and transport. Expect to pay around €149 for the 72-hour version. If Vatican is your priority, the Omnia is the cleaner choice despite the higher price.
Do Rome passes let you skip the Colosseum queue?
Not automatically. All passes that include the Colosseum still require you to book a timed-entry slot in advance – during peak season, slots can sell out three or more weeks ahead. The pass covers the admission cost; it does not replace the booking requirement. The Omnia Card includes facilitated Vatican entry, but Colosseum reservations must still be made separately through the official ticketing site.
